Travel Health Kit

 

While on the move, business travellers may not always have easy access to basic health and safety products to treat minor illnesses and address simple security concerns. The Travel Health Kit has been designed with the needs of frequent travellers in mind, allowing you to address headaches, fevers and common illnesses without having to worry about locating a local pharmacy amidst unfamiliar surroundings.

The Travel Health Kit equips travellers with basic health supplies for the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses.

Use according to manufacturer's instructions.

WATER PURIFICATION TABLETS

For use when safe drinking water is not readily accessible. Adding these tablets to water will kill many harmful germs, making it suitable for drinking.

Your kit may also contain

HAND SANITISER

When hands are not visibly dirty, hand sanitiser can be used to kill the germs on hands, especially if soap and water aren't easily accessible.

INSECT REPELLENT TOWELETTES

Contains 30% DEET ("diethyltoluamide"), an effective insect repellent, For use on exposed skin.

SUNSCREEN TOWELETTES

SPF 30+ protection against sunburn. Apply and re-apply to exposed skin.

Use according to manufacturer's instructions. Never take more than the recommended dose. If symptoms don't improve, seek medical advice. 

ANTACID TABLETS

Relieves nausea, heartburn or indigestion, and diarrhoea. 

ANTI-ITCH CREAM

Mild anti-inflammatory cream for temporary relief of minor skin rashes, itch and irritation.

ANTISEPTIC TOWELETTES

Alcohol free. Used to clean minor skin wounds to prevent infection.

BURN GEL SACHETS

For treatment of minor skin burns, including sunburn. Apply to affected skin to help cool and relieve pain.

GAUZE SWABS, PLASTERS/BANDAIDS and SURGICAL TAPE

For covering wounds after they have been cleaned. 

ORAL REHYDRATION SACHETS

Replace fluid and salts lost from the body with diarrhoea and vomiting, reducing dehydration.
Must be mixed with safe water. If vomiting is present, sip slowly. 

PARACETAMOL / ACETAMINOPHEN TABLETS

For relief of mild pain and fever. 

Your kit may also contain

ANTI-HISTAMINE TABLETS

Relieves minor allergy symptoms such as itchy watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, itchy skin.

LOPERAMIDE TABLETS

Decreases diarrhoea. Do not use if there is blood in the motions, seek medical advice.

SODIUM CHLORIDE IRRIGATION SOLUTION (0.9%)

Single use sterile salt water for washing skin wounds. Twist the top off and squirt onto the skin. Can also be used to rinse eyes. Use immediately after opening and discard any unused solution.

DISPOSABLE GLOVES

Useful when handling dirty items. Single use. Does not replace the need for hand washing or use of hand sanitise.

DOOR STOP

Use it in addition to door locks to stop your door being opened.

FACE MASK

Single use, must be disposed of after use. Wear it when coughing / sneezing to help prevent spreading illness to others. Always wash hands or use hand sanitiser before putting the mask on, before and after taking it off.

PENLIGHT

Ready to use, disposable (batteries not replaceable)

THERMAL EMERGENCY BLANKET

Provides temporary protection from cold.

THERMOMETER

Reuseable. Clean with antiseptic towellete before and after each use.

OR

Single use. Place under the tongue or under the armpit as directed and then dispose of after single use.
